About The Rising Stars Football Academy
Rising Stars Football Academy, Formerly Ron’s Rising Stars, is a Non-Contact Football Camp for Football Players who play at the High School Varsity/JV, Freshman, Junior High, and Midget Football Levels, All Players Ages 8-18. Our Participants are split into divisions based on their level of play. Rising Stars Football Academy is Owned and Directed by Former Philadelphia Eagles Defensive End Ron Johnson.
Before Retiring from the NFL, Ron had a Goal to one day start a football camp to teach advanced techniques and skills to football players to advance their game on the field. He also saw the importance of becoming a well-rounded student athlete and wanted to incorporate Student Athlete Development. Now in year 10 of our camps, we have helped countless football players advance their games on the field to become better football players, and have also inspired our participants to succeed in the classroom, on the field and in the community.

About The Camp
Rising Stars Football Academy Camp is a non-contact camp for High School Varsity, JV, Freshmen, Junior High and Midget Level Players as we multiple divisions. Our Camps are for Elite Football Players, Mid-Level and Beginners. At Rising Stars Football Academy our campers are put through a very tough High Tempo Pro Style Practice Schedule each day. We hold high expectations for all campers to go Game Speed during every drill, period and during Team Sessions. We focus on offense in the morning sessions and defense in the afternoon sessions. Our Participants work through Individual, Group Run, Group Pass 7 on 7, 1 on 1 and Team Periods.
Rising Stars Football Academy camps are run with a Pro/College Style Practice Schedule, as we focus on offense in the mornings, defense in the afternoons. During our Offensive sessions we focus on Offensive Individual, Inside Run, Group Pass, 7 on 7, 1 on 1’s and Team. During our Defensive sessions we focus on Defensive Individual, Defensive Inside Run, Group Defense, 7 on 7, Shell/Coverages Period, 1 on 1’s and Team. Our Hi Tempo schedule and approach helps our participants both mentally and physically. This is not your typical football camp. Our participants push and work hard throughout each session and are required to go full speed/game speed with every drill, every period, every rep, every set. At the end of our morning and afternoon sessions we condition to challenge our participants to think and execute when they are exhausted, to limit mistakes made on the field when they are physically and mentally exhausted, to simulate game situations before halftime and at the end of a game. Our campers are pushed to go hard throughout each session and are challenged to push through to simulate what they will face on Friday Nights, Saturdays, and Sundays on the field.
As a YAIAA District III Assistant Football Coach at Red Lion High School where he is the Defensive Line Coach, Coach Johnson holds his Campers accountable to the same expectations that he has for his Varsity High School Players and NCAA Players he Coaches and Trains throughout the year.
