COVID-19 UPDATE

Updated April 29, 2020 at 3:00 PM
Dear Participants, Parents, and Coaches,
It is with deep regret that Rising Stars Football Academy must cancel our July 12-16 Football Camp at Shippensburg University. Due to the uncertainty of the next couple of months ahead with the Coronavirus, we cannot move forward in hosting our camp this summer. There are countless factors that contribute to this decision, including the closure of campuses and educational institutes across the state. Our main priority is for the health and safety of all our athletes and coaches. Due to the structure and schedule of our residential camp, we have decided to postpone.
Each day over the past couple of months, we have continued to review daily information from local and state governments and world health agencies. We also reviewed the latest updated information from the PA State System of Higher Education and the PIAA, which helped us make our final decision.
At this time, we have not yet made a final decision on our 3 Day Mini Camp with Upper Adams, but we will be making a final decision for that camp as well within the upcoming weeks.
This summer was going to be like no other for Rising Stars Football Academy as we were scheduled to host two High School Football Combines, our July 12-16th camp, and our 3-day mini-camp. At this time, we can only be positive and focus on the future. Rising Stars Football Academy will come back bigger and stronger next year for sure. Please stay tuned for new fall, winter, and spring offensive and defensive positional training, clinics, and combines that we will be announcing in the upcoming months. Also, stay tuned for upcoming conferences and resources we will be providing for our athletes.
If you have registered for our 2020 football camps you will have refund options. You may choose to receive a full refund or transfer all or a portion of your payment to one of our 2020/2021 positional training, combines or camps. If you have registered for our 2020 camps, you will receive a direct email shortly with the full details.
Again, we want to remind everyone that we are in unprecedented times, which warrant critical measures to protect everyone’s health, safety, and welfare. Please know that our thoughts and prayers remain with each of you during these challenging times. In advance, thank you for your patience and ongoing support. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all of our healthcare professionals, front line workers, law enforcement, military, and so many other critical members of our workforce who are working and continuing to support, feed, and protect families across our great state and our country each day!
We are all in this together as one TEAM. We are all missing sports, missing normal activities and being able to do what we love to do best, which is playing the great game of football. We will all get through this and we will all come back stronger than ever!
Be Well,
Rising Stars Football Academy
