The PSFCA would like to welcome our new football camp partner, Rising Stars Football Academy. This established group is run by Former NFL Alumni Ron Johnson. Ron’s approach to teaching football goes hand in hand with what we want to teach our players in the state of Pennsylvania. We are very excited to move forward with this partnership for many years to come.

Dear Pennsylvania Football Coaches,

It is with Great Honor that we announce a Partnership between the PSFCA-Big 33 and Rising Stars Football Academy, formerly known as Ron’s Rising Stars Football Camps. The Big 33 and PSFCA will be partnering together for the 10th annual Rising Stars Academy Football Camp July 7-11th at Shippensburg University. Our goal is to grow the partnership to work together on multiple camps, clinics, combines and other opportunities to coach and educate football players between the ages of 8-18. We will continue to have a High School Varsity Division (10th-12th Grades), Freshman/Junior High Division (7th, 8th, 9th Grades), Midget Football/Youth Divisions (4th-6th). Football Players of all skill levels from advanced to beginners will have the opportunity to participate in our camp and to become better football players.

Rising Stars Football Academy is owned and operated by Shippensburg University Hall of Famer and Former Philadelphia Eagles Defensive End Ron Johnson. During his playing days at Ship and in Philly he had a vision to start a football camp post career that would focus on teaching high level techniques and skills for every offensive and defensive position and to also incorporate an educational, leadership and student athlete development focus with a classroom seminar series at the camp. Formerly known as Ron’s Rising Stars Football Camps, in 2019 this will be the 10th Anniversary of the camp as we have re-branded to Rising Stars Football Academy.

Over the past 10 years, participants have traveled from all over PA, MD, NJ, NY, WV and beyond to attend our football camp, that has proven to greatly improve participants technique and skills on the field for their positions and greatly improve participants attitude, drive and leadership in the classroom with their grades and in the community. We have had several campers go on to play college football at the Division I, II and III Levels and beyond.

Our Coaches have many years of experience playing in the NFL, CFL, and other professional Leagues. Our Coaches have also played at the Division I, II, III, Levels. Our staff uses the very best techniques to coach our participants and share their advanced knowledge with our campers. We hope to have the opportunity to work with your football player at our camp.

Our mission is to not only teach football players the very best techniques and skills they need to succeed at their positions on the field, but to also educate our players in the areas of student athlete development, leadership, education and how to succeed on and off the field. Our athletes will be encouraged to lead by example and to also give back to their communities. There are no other football camps in the country that offer a high tempo pro practice style camp and a Student Athlete Development/ Leadership and Educational component.
